Street Yoga builds capacity in youth to overcome trauma and to create meaningful, healthy lives through yoga and mindfulness.
We envision a world where everyone has access to yoga. Youth, families and their caregivers will employ tools learned from yoga, mindful breathing and compassionate communication, to grow stronger, heal from past traumas, and create for themselves a life that is inspired, safe and joyful.
Our densely-packed 14-hour training offers an inspiring and heart-felt introduction to the field of service yoga and meditation, a wide-variety of practical, hands-on skills needed to serve youth experiencing life challenges.
Areas for exploration and practice include communicating effectively, maintaining safety in the classroom, promoting healthy boundaries, choosing postures and exercises, handling challenging behaviors and situations, and collaborating with agencies.
At the end of the Street Yoga training, all participants will receive a certificate of completion that is good for 14 continuing education credits through Yoga Alliance as well as your regional chapter of Social Work!

“Our hands imbibe like roots, so I place them on what is beautiful in this world. And I fold them in prayer, and they draw from the heavens light.” - St. Francis of Assisi
Sahaja Devi, Tracey Erin Lanham, believes that all of us have the capacity to experience union in our everyday lives. She is deeply passionate about guiding students to experience the pulse of the universe, and to understand that pulse as the path to union. Each class is a confirmation that we are not separate from the universal heartbeat. Rather, we are part of it. She is also deeply interested in exploring the spaces between- the transitions and the connections. These places that are neither here nor there teach us that this practice, and indeed this life, is not a series of separate and disconnected events, but rather a continuous, unbroken thread.

“The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You trade in your sense for an act. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask. There can’t be any large-scale revolution until there’s a personal revolution, on an individual level. It’s got to happen inside first.” - Jim Morrison (The Doors)
An avid student of Hatha yoga since childhood, Hadley teaches to serve as a bridge for others to cross into their innate body-wisdom. After studying physical theatre, acrobatics and ecstatic dance, she is dedicated to integrating the limit-pushing practices found in an acting class with the spirit-fulfilling practices of yoga. Every movement is an outer manifestation of the body’s inner grace; by unifying freedom of expression with precise alignment, the body opens to its unique and boundless potential – prepare to get inquisitive and dive into your gifts. Hadley is certified with YogaWorks and Yogiños Yoga for Youth, and teaches with pepperings of Prana Flow, philosophy and curiosity.

Samadhi is a true treasure for yogis in Denver . Practicing at Samadhi provides a wonderful sense of devotion, strength and existence. ~ Ana Luevano
I feel so blessed to have Samadhi in my life. I think the best part is that I get the benefit of so many quality instructors. While all share the same intentions of union, gratitude and peace, each has a slightly different philosophy, creativity and wisdom to share. The teachers keep me humble and craving more. Thank you Samadhi. ~ Leah Pearson
…being new to Denver , Samadhi has helped me find my heart home, my center, and the many small-voice realizations of why my path led me here. Many, many thanks and Namaste. ~ Jaime Morston
Samadhi is the answer to my soul’s need for a comprehensive yoga practice and sangha. The teachers keep growing with us, and the students are clearly thriving. ~ Lisa Kaley-Isley
When I walked into Samadhi, I knew this was the center my heart has been looking for. Samadhi teaches not only the poses of yoga, but also the spiritual aspect, all within an external space created with an intention of peace allowing me to connect with that internal peace of stillness, that connection to the divine. ~ Tracey Thiele
Samadhi and yoga have become a central part of my life. I enjoy the many facets; my spirituality, exercise, a sense of community. The staff and instructors are very open and helpful. The effect in my life is broad and deep. I am very appreciative of the experience, the center and the people. ~ Steve Fante
