Matthew teaches with sincerity and reverence, guiding students toward a deeper sense of stillness, calm, and confidence. Matthew strives to align himself, and his students, with the traditional orientation of yoga–stability of the physical body, awakening of the pranic body, and equanimity of the mental/emotional body. His classes combine practical yogic techniques of pranayama, asana, mantra, and meditation with classical yogic philosophy and contemplation.
Matthew believes that although we live in a world of constant fluctuation, with utmost faith and practice, stability is not only possible, but is our true abiding nature.
By becoming more aware of the present moment, we become more capable of not only choosing the trajectory of our life, but changing it altogether. This is not a promise, but an experience that is happening right now. Yoga is the systematic removal of limitations, for the purpose of experiencing our Soul’s full potential.
Matthew is proud to have received his 200 hour YTC from Samadhi Yoga Center.
