    Friday, June 20th, 3:30 – 6:00 pm

$40 in advance / $45 at the door

    “On a dark secret night
starving for love and deep in flame
    O happy lucky flight
    unseen I slipped away
my house at last was calm and safe…”
~ ‘Dark Night of the Soul,’  John of the Cross, Spanish mystic

The dark nights of our lives can be uprooting, chaotic and downright uncomfortable…But new light is preceded by darkness and new living is preceded by death. And our ultimate happiness is found in allowing the darkness to lead us in becoming that light and living that aliveness.  Join us for an embodied exploration inspired by the 15th century poem, “Dark Night of the Soul.”

    In the workshop we will:

    Take the poem into meditation
Unpack the visceral insights the words reveal
Bring our personal journey to a new level of awareness
Integrate the exploration with an asana based embodiment of the dark night of our souls.

[Please note that this workshop is not applicable to 500hr Credits]
