Embodied Wisdom with Anne Hart, Hansa, Beth Sanchez and Jeremy Wolf  |  July 22nd-26th, $125-$150

Ahhhh, retreat with fellow practitioners………   This module will support each student to sink deeply intothe daily living of full practice.   We will be in a local beautiful spot together for 3 days, waking early and practicing pranayama, asana, and meditation each morning.   We will revisit our Mindfulness Practice and do our best to practice walking meditation everywhere we go, Eating Meditation at our meals, dharma-talk style lectures on the more subtle aspects of the Yoga Sutras, and personal writing exercises.   We will further support the opportunity to slip into a deep, radiant experience with life by practicing Noble Silence at appropriate times, Yoga Nidra, and and a wonderful evening practice together.

Hansa PicturePatanjali Yoga Sutra~with Hansa:  Patanjali Yoga Sutra has three sutra referring to asana. The balance of the text introduces Raja Yoga, the science of meditation. The “book of promises,” Hansa’s nickname for the Yoga Sutra, discusses the psychology of the mind and the path to stilling the vrtti, the wandering thoughts that prevent us from being present for Self. Many wise insights about befriending the mind and meditation tools are outlined in the Sutra(s). The wisdom and practice leads the practitioner to the path of inner calm, stillness and eventually Samadhi. We will review the Sutra(s), different practices and explore personalizing a technique based on your dosha.

This workshop is a part of  Samadhi’s 500hr Teacher Training Program (this portion is not open to general public).  Please contact us for details.
