Adaptive yoga is a practice that strengthens the connection between the mind and the body. Among the many benefits are increased flexibility, greater sense of balance, increased strength, mental clarity, and overall well-being. This adaptive class is designed for traumatic brain injury survivors and is appropriate for all levels of ability. With the support of TBIAlive, together we will create a supportive community that will allow us to explore practices that invite healing and peace into the body, mind and spirit. These classes are open to the general public; but they are specifically paced and designed to be accessible to those with physical or mental disabilities or impairments.
