My yoga teacher training at Samadhi has opened doors into my spirituality, my whole yoga practice, and my complete life, which I didn’t know existed. Your Samadhi Yoga Teacher Training team is a collective of esteemed professionals in the yoga community from all around the Denver and Boulder area who have dedicated their lives to service. We strongly believe in supporting one another and spreading the truths of a yogic path. This team is devoted to creating powerful, positive change on our planet. We ache to serve in the highest manner possible and we focus our devotion on developing programs that we feel have the potential of creating deeply profound change within the hearts of many. Jeremy Wolf

Having an interest in the mind/body relationship since an early age, Jeremy practiced martial arts before finding yoga.  It was through the practice of yoga nidra and meditation back in 1993 that led him to explore asana, bhakti, and the Eight Limbs.   In 2006 he earned his yoga teaching certificate in the Classical Eight Limbs at Yoga Vidya Dham in Naasik, India.  Jeremy is also a Reiki Master and sees all of his practices as various methods for bringing himself and others back into the most natural state of being.

Beth Sanchez – ERYT 200

Beth’s classes are deeply inspired by her primary teachers, Zen Master Thich Nhat Hahn, and Ayurveda Master Practitioner, Alakananda Ma.  She is also deeply influenced by the teachings of Richard Freeman, and Adyashanti.  Beth has been teaching Yoga since 2000 and Ayurveda since 2005 and  Vegetarian Cooking Classes since 2010.  Her aspiration is to help students access their own awakened nature using powerful tools available through Yoga, Ayurveda, and Mindfulness.  Check out her offerings at www.bethsanchez.

Cheryl Deer- EYRT 200, RYT 500

 

Many have found themselves mesmerized by her passion, moved by her honesty and changed by her insights. Cheryls classes are fun and motivating, have great energy and will leave you awakened. She is known for great adjustments, teaching for all levels and delivering an intelligently sequenced challenging class.Cheryl has studied yoga for 12 years and taught for 11. Her greatest teaching influence comes from her students. She completed Basic and Advanced Teacher Training Intensives with Ana Forrest and Ashtanga Teacher Training with David Swenson. She has also studied Iyengar, Power, Vinyasa, Anusara and Jivamukti yoga. Saraphina Mesmer- ERYT 200

Saraphina Mesmer is a renowned teacher of Yoga, meditation, Vedic studies, and sacred music. She has taught thousands of students. On her their behalf, Saraphina regularly travels to India to receive initiation from her teacher in advanced meditation and healing techniques. Her desire is to help her students rise to the highest possibility of knowledge and happiness and share that awareness with everyone around them.

Anne Hart – ERYT 200, RYT 500

Anne has been practicing yoga for 20 years and teaching since 2000.  She has earned her 500 hour certification from Tias Little/Prajna Yoga and has been honored to assist Tias for over 10 years.  Anne has also assisted Thomas Myers (“Anatomy Trains”) & Todd Garcia in a 5-day Fascial Dissection Course.  Anne creatively teaches anatomy using slide shows to depict anatomical structures which also appear in animals, art and architecture.  Following her presentations, she guides students through an asana practice focusing on those same structures experientially.  She ignites passion for the complexity of the human body.

Michelle Lee E-RYT 200

Michelle LeeMichelle Lee blends her professional training as a Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist with her training as a Vinyasa yoga instructor to create a healing and transformational experience for her yoga students.  Michelle completed her 200 hour teacher training with renowned teacher trainers Shannon Paige  and Chris Muchow and has continued her education by soaking up the brilliant offerings of yogis and tantric philosophers like Shiva Rea, Douglas Brooks, Chris Tompkins and Ana Forrest.  Weaving yoga asana, neuropsychology and music, Michelle’s classes invite you to flow into the deep internal landscape of how your body holds emotion while keeping things light hearted and down to earth.  Michelle teaches yoga throughout the Front Range and sees Yoga Psychotherapy clients in her Denver based private practice.

Alicia DeCristofaro

Alicia DeCristofaro is your guide, instructor, and friend through this class.  Alicia is a doula of  12 years. She has  completed 2 1/2 years studying  with a home birth midwife in Denver and Parker, she is a massage therapist since 1991, prenatal yoga instructor since 2002, she is certified in Nutrition Therapy, Prenatal Massage, and she is passionate about sharing her knowledge and love.

Kelly Larson, MA, PhDc, CYT, is passionate about delivering experiences that change people’s lives. As the director of the Center for the Study of Yoga and Health and founder of the Power Yin Yoga tradition, she is an acclaimed Yoga and meditation teacher, speaker, and scholar. Kelly has been featured nationally and internationally in major publications such as Martha Stewart’s Whole Living and quoted in leading publications including Yoga Journal.

Kelly is known for creating unique experiences that go far beyond traditional Yoga, and grounding her work with academic rigor.  She has been teaching Yoga and meditation for over 15 years and travels the world to teach workshops and lead retreats, as well as to deliver premium private Yoga sessions. Annie Freedom | Program Visionary & Director

It has been Annie’s lifelong desire to serve others and improve the planet we inhabit. Annie (with the help of many others along the way) created Samadhi over nine years ago to fulfill this dharma. It is through our joined vision that we have created this outstanding program that consistently transforms lives for the better.

Establishing a strong yoga teacher training program is an important step to awakening the masses to our own glorious truth. It is Annie’s heartfelt wish that many will not only learn about how to teach profound and transformational yoga classes, but will also discover a deep and powerful awakening in themselves. This, she believes has the power to positively and radically transform the world.

Tias Little

In 1985, Tias began practicing yoga in the Iyengar method. In 1989, he went to Mysore South India to study Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga for six months with K. Pattabhi Jois. He returned to Mysore in 1995 completing primary, intermediate and half of the advanced series of Ashtanga Yoga.  Since 1992, Tias has been a long time student of Buddhist practice studying Vipassana meditation and Zen (Upaya Zen Center and Roshi Joan Halifax). He began studying Dzogchen and Mahamudra within Tibetan Buddhism in 2003 under the guidance of Tsoknyi Rinpoche. Tias currently is a student of koan study in the Rinzai school of Zen practice studying with Roshi Joan Sutherland. In 2000, Tias and his wife, Surya, founded and directed the Yoga Source studio in Santa Fe. They sold the studio in 2006, and currently they both continue to offer public classes there. Tias is author of two books: The Thread of Breath and Meditations on a Dewdrop.

Liza Aslor holds her B.S. in Holistic Health and Wellness with an emphasis in Nutrition. She’s been practicing yoga since 2000 and began teaching in 2008. Liza is also a LMT and brings her passion for yoga into her massage practice by specializing in Thai yoga massage.
Liza enjoys teaching classical hatha yoga with a balance of challenging and restorative postures. Prenatal yoga is one of her passions as a former doula and apprentice midwife. Adaptive yoga is another specialty of Liza’s after finding inspiration through The Chanda Plan Foundation and mentor Matthew Sanford.
“I believe yoga is accessible to all regardless of your body’s size, age or ability level. We can all benefit from cultivating the mind-body connection.”

 

Ashley Curran has always been on the move.  Born in Colorado, Ashley was a competitive figure skater for 10 years, a dancer and an avid skiier since the age of 3.  Ashley began practicing yoga in 2001.  She fell in love with the practice and discovered that she wanted to share this passion with others.  Ashley Curran has been teaching yoga since 2002.  Ashley received her hatha yoga training through Axis Yoga Teacher Trainings. In 2008 she took pre-natal training at Shoshoni Mountain School. In 2010 Ashley took Matthew Sanford’s adaptive yoga level one training in MN.  She learned how to teach and modify yoga for people with disabilities (spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, MS, degenerative back disease etc).  This training really changed Ashley’s life.  Ashley now teaches adaptive yoga and finds so much inspiration from her adaptive students.  Ashley takes inspiration from many different styles of yoga. She has studied with many great teachers such as Rodney Yee, Seane Corne, Shiva Rhea, Rod Stryker, Tias Little, Judith Hansen Lasater, Ana Forrest, Matthew Sanford & Richard Freeman. She has assisted Matthew Sanford in Denver.  Some local favorites are: Karen Lerner, Mark Sisun, Beth Sanchez, Rochelle Townsend & Jeremy Wolf. Her vinyasa class combines a good mix of pranayama, asana and yoga philosophy with extra special attention on alignment. Ashley strives to guide her students to have their own spiritual experience with yoga. Ashley is the mother of two wonderful children, Caroline and Jack and finds herself practicing yoga off the mat everyday while raising her family.
