Meredith Abbott is a Colorado Native who specializes in progressive vinyasa flow. She started yoga based on the recommendation from a former colleague in the corporate world for stress and anxiety relief. She fell in love with the challenges of the mental focus, centering, and feeling grounded in the body.
She offers stress reduction techniques and alignment-based instruction woven into a self-empowering flow in her classes. She also does flexibility training for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and mixed martial arts athletes. Her students can expect clear instruction and demonstration on how to deepen their practice safely. She enjoys offering her students a fun challenge and creating space for individual inspiration. She specializes in progressive sequencing, teaching directly from her own practice, not only to move her students towards those “challenge poses,” but also to deepen the mind/body/spirit connection. She studies regularly with local teachers such as Cheryl Deer, Mike Matsumura, and Desi Springer. She is an RYT 200 Hour under the direction of Shannon Paige Schneider.
